Sometimes, you are driving with dogs in the car, and need a burger. This was my issue earlier. Several times, I?ve had the pups in the car, and have driven through to get a quick bite. They?re always so sweet to our dogs. They are given treats and talkedto. One of my dogs has anxiety about car rides because she was previously abandoned. Those kind words and treats go a longway! Both the lady and gentleman in the drive through we usually see, are just the sweetest with our dogs, one of whom ispretty unruly. Also, the burgers are pretty dang good. Hot fresh, made to order?(the mushroom Swiss comes with mustard for somereason, but you can get Mayo on it. The hot cowboy and hot hickory are great. My favorite burger of the month is the pesto one.Thumbs up Jakes (AGAIN for great customer service!????????

Jake's Burgers has been in business for quite some time. The last time I dined here was about 8 years ago, and they are still going strong even during the Covid era. I decided to give them another try, as they have some signature burgers on the menu, as well as a burger of the month. This month's special was a Hatch Chile burger, which I was interested in trying. However, I was taken aback by the price of $10.50 just for the burger alone. I could get a Hatch Chile burger with fries and a drink at Whataburger for $9, so I was hesitant to spend that much at Jake's. I ended up ordering a double cheeseburger, tater tots, and a drink, which came to around $14. The burger was tasty, served on their signature poppy seed bun. Unfortunately, the tater tots were not crispy, which was disappointing, and the drink was a standard fountain beverage. Overall, I felt that I got what I paid for at $14, but it was not the best burger in the world as they claim. I believe there are better tasting burger options available in that price range. Therefore, it may be a while before I return to Jake's Burgers. The food was good, but I expected more value for my money.

The food was just as delicious as before the pandemic, even though the restaurant has moved from its Skillman location. I drove an hour to get there, and I was not disappointed. I couldn't decide what to order, but the selection I made was delicious. My son is already planning our next visit. We will dine in next time. The service was also very good.

I really enjoy the Atkins special at this restaurant. It's perfect for those following a keto, low-carb, or gluten-free diet. The portion size is generous and the price is very reasonable at only $8. That's all I have to say.

This meal was the best I've had all year. I absolutely adore those poppy seed buns. I ordered the beyond Burger and it was incredibly flavorful. My husband got the BLT and he really enjoyed it. We also tried the queso tots and they were fantastic. I wish there were more Jake's locations nearby because we have to drive 30 minutes just to get a burger from there. I highly recommend Jake's, it is truly the best food ever.
