Best food and service that I've had in a long time. Worth it percent

When we first arrived the hostess station was empty and no staff even acknowledged us as they walked past. When the hostess arrived she was extremely curt, short, and seemed extremely bothered by our presence. Once we were seated we noticed the noise level was “club like” and made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Our waiter appeared to be over faced with several tables and he was unfortunately not knowledgeable on the menu. When we asked about certain items, he stated “I haven’t tried that” or “I’m not sure”. We placed our order and were unimpressed with the food once it arrived. The food was extremely over sauced and was just not good. With sushi, we expect a level of freshness and we did not receive it. The pacing was terrible and our waiter came to the table twice in an hour we were there. With so many better options for sushi in Dallas, we left and went to another restaurant to finish our date. Avoid at all cost and try Uchi or Uchiba for good sushi

First time here. Great experience. Food was tasty and decently portioned. Our best plate was the Korean chicken. Had to order it was so good! We will definitely be back
