Humble: Simply Good Pies - Dallas

My husband and I stopped in yesterday during opening week to buy a Blossom Coconut Joy pie (a pie we tried at the owner's taste testing . We also had slices of apple and chocolate cream. The apple is honestly the best apple pie I've ever had, and I'm very discerning about apple pie. The slices of apple were perfectly tart and sweet, but not overly sweet. The pie crust complemented the filling, with a flaky, buttery crust. My husband really enjoyed his chocolate cream pie slice as well. I just tried the Blossom Coconut Joy and it's better than I remember! The chocolate is not your run-of-the-mill chocolate. According to the owner, it's a cream-de-pot (spelling? , a high quality chocolate filling, which comes through in every bite. The coconut cream layer is fantastic, and you can taste just enough coconut to balance it out. The whipped cream on top is delicate and light, topped with shaved almonds and chocolate shavings. The shop itself is lovely and homey, with a really cool quirky design scheme. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy some pie and coffee. I can't say enough about the owners. This pie shop has been a dream of theirs for a while, and they've injected their passion and love into every bit of the shop and the pie recipes I highly recommend Humble Pies! Go try it. You'll be delighted with the entire experience!

I ordered a fresh peach gluten free pie for the 4th. it was without a doubt the best tasting pie I have ever had. I usually eat the inside and throw the crust out as gluten free is horrible pie crust but these folks have mastered it. thanks

Yummy yummy yummy pie! Plus super nice staff owners. So glad they are finally open! We went to grab 1 slice each, among multiple options. They all looked so good, we ended up with 2 of each, to-go. Ha ha! All were delish!. They will rotate seasonally, since it's summer, we got all-berry pie (delicious tart like cobbler , lemon ice box, traditional Apple, and lemon chess (think buttermilk... All super yummy AND very good crust too. Highly recommend. U can buy whole pies too.

This place has seriously DELICIOUS pies. I’ve had the Coconut Joy and the Lemon Ice Box pie. Both were amazing for different reasons. And the crust! I’d seriously eat a crust without filling—it’s mouth-watering buttery goodness on a plate

This pie will make you wanna slap your grandma AND your mama! Shared four different slices between three of us and all four were absolutely delicious. There's no question, only the best ingredients are used in these pies and the crust is spot-on fabulous!
