Przekaż informację zwrotnąI saw that a lot of people were posting negative reviews, so I was hesitant to come. However, I’m glad I persevered. This is a Golden Corral not a 5 star restaurant. It is a buffet that has featured the same items for over 20 years. I’m not sure what people are expecting when they show up but the experiences they are sharing are wildly exaggerated. It’s a buffet. The food isn’t going to be piping hot or perfect constantly. Things get replaced after they run out or after a certain amount of time. Some tables are going to be messy as they serve as a dirty dish “triage” before they go to the back. Please adjust your expectations to “average Golden Corral experience.” They were out of honey butter, which is 80% of the reason I go to Golden Corral in the first place and I wasn’t even mad because the food was decent for Golden Corral quality.
The bf took me to lunch today here and the food was good the server ehh maybe cause it was right after lunch but still and the restaurant was hot I guess their ac was broken or something ... But last time I came here I didn't experience any of this so hopefully if we decide to go back it will better...
I went in on a Saturday night expecting a full array of meats, vegetables and desserts. There was NO meat selection at all !! There was chicken and fish but no steaks or roast beef at all! Not worth the $17.00 !
Today was the first time I ever asked for a refund at a restaurant. This place has gone completely downhill. It used to be one of the best locations to come to. The food tasted old. The steak tasted spoiled. Whoever the owner is needs to upgrade this place and quit being cheap. Because it certainly isn't cheap to eat here. I really hope I don't get sick from the food from this location.
What happened to this place?! Went Sunday 8/14/22 around 11:30 AM. Place looked run down outside but packed as usual. Went in and noticed right away there was no food smell. Smelled old and stale. How does a buffet not have the scent of food in the air? Walk to the register to pay and see a sign that reads AC not working too well. Sorry for the inconvenience. It doesn 't feel too bad this early so I pay and walk in to the table section. My son picks a table and I ask him to order the drinks when the server comes. Head to the buffet and it 's like feeding time at the zoo. The ladies behind the counters are attempting to serve people themselves, which is good during Covid times, but there are too many customers and too few employees so people are grabbing tongs and spoons themselves and the employees say nothing. The buffet trays are a mess. Food is mixed with other food which could be potentially dangerous to anyone with food allergies. There are spills all around the trays and floor. It was disgusting. Trays had been picked clean leaving people standing in big groups waiting for food to be brought out. I had to ask 3 different people when certain foods were going to be brought out only to be ignored (looked right in my face and walk away ignored) until it finally occurred to me to ask in Spanish. At this point I 'm over it. I 've been here a good 10 minutes. Have no food on my plate so I stand back and look at the state of the other stations. They are just as empty and disgusting as the main entrée station. The carpets are filthy and the entire place looks dirty. I decided to leave. I was disgusted and had lost my appetite. I go back to get my son who, STILL AFTER 10 12 MINUTES, has not been able to place a drink order. I went up front to get a refund. The young guy didn 't even ask why I wanted a refund. Offered no apologies. He casually printed me out a refund receipt and told me my money would be put back on my card tomorrow . He acted as if though this was a common occurrence. My refund receipt reads $34.61 but I confirmed my CC was charged $41.53. I 'm wondering what the $6.92 difference is for cause we weren 't even served drinks before we left. I can 't believe how dirty and run down this establishment has gotten. I left hangry and dang near nauseated. I better get all my money back on my card.
