Flying Fish - Dallas

My brother was visiting, and although the Flying Fish isn't one of our usual spots, we've dined at other locations in the past. We both ordered catfish fillets, which we really enjoy. The batter on the fish was fantastic—light and crispy without overwhelming the meat. I also love the way they prepare their French fries. The decor, featuring flying fish and talking fish themes, is fun to look at as well. My brother, who is from Florida and regularly eats seafood, thoroughly enjoyed his meal and said it was very delicious.

My coworker and I tried some alligator that was fried, wasn't too bad, something different for the first time. Nice people working in this place. Next time we're going to try out a few of the other items that look delicious.

It's not fancy, but it's clean and laid back. Love the food and atmosphere.

The catfish reminds me of my mom's. Wednesday is all you can eat.

I'm doing catch up. I was here on May 7, 2023. This is probably my 3rd or 4th visit. I ordered the fried seafood, of course! I got the fried shrimp and oyster basket. As usual, it was battered just right and it was hot and fresh. Also had boiled potatoes, fries and French bread.
