Ellie's Lounge - Dallas

We always had a good experience in Ellies, but on Sunday night something was gone. The service was extremely slow over 1 hour waiting for dinner there was no special and they were from the fish duck and no Brussels . Mostly, a table of 6 had arrived right next to us and were not served on the menus within 15 minutes, the only redeeming part of the evening was the excellent Hall wine. I'm sorry to say we won't be back soon.

The food was good with the exception of the eggs. The eggs were simply ordered and cooked well.

Nice spot for lunch. Vibe a little too sterile with the all white. Menu pretty basic but good. Service is outstanding-super professional and nice.

Saturday brunch service was pretty glacial, even after telling our server that we had a show to catch. The food was low quality. We got the bao buns to start and the buns were dense and chewy like they had been frozen. The ancient grain salad had ok flavor but the texture was mushy instead of al dente. The salmon that was added was overcooked. Definitely not worth it for the price.

Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable on the food and the whole atmosphere was quiet and classy. It was great.
