D'vegan - Dallas

This vegan place is so delicious and affordable! For two people including drinks, spring roll and entree, and tip was about $40. I tried the young coconut water and it was so refreshing on a hot summer day. There is plenty of parking available since the restaurant shares parking with a grocery store. It was the perfect amount of food for lunch!

Second best pho in Dallas! Friendly, old style Asian restaurant. Delicious, satisfying comfort food.

I can't reconcile these reviews and pictures with the place I walked into today. It smelled like death, literally like something was rotting in the entire building. How can somebody eat in a place like that? Moreover it was not clean at all. In terms of ambience truly an unpleasant place I would not go there.

Update: the pad Thai is delicious! I'll have to try a soup next. I think this restaurant is better for takeout- the smell isn't super pleasant so hold your breath on the way in, but the food is worth it! I've never actually eaten here, I've only done take out. The restaurant itself is really small and located in the back of a Vietnamese market. The food I have had here is delicious. I always call ahead to place my order for pickup.
