Carmine's Pizza Downtown - Dallas

This charming little pizza place in downtown Dallas is a true gem. It's easily one of the best pizza spots I've ever visited. I really appreciate how they prepare the pizza hot and fresh. The crust is so soft that you'll find yourself wanting more. Without a doubt, this is the go-to place for pizza!

Second time I get served old slices when order over the phone. It was old pizza with a little bit fresh cheese and toppings on top. Very disappointed

This place truly captures the essence of a New York-style pizzeria. Is it spotless? Well, somewhat. Is the service warm and welcoming? Generally, yes. Is the pizza flawless? Not quite, but it's definitely reliable. The crust is crisp, the cheese isn’t excessive, and the slices are easy to fold. You can get two slices and a fountain Coke for $11. It’s definitely worth checking out—one of the few spots I’ve found in Dallas that genuinely offers an authentic NY-style slice.

Great tasting pizza cooked perfectly in their oven. I really enjoyed the jalapeño and pepperoni pizza. And the Hawaiian slice I had was equally delicious. I recommend this pizza place for anytime of day.

After relocating to Dallas, I've been on the hunt for some good pizza. The photos led me to have high hopes, but when I ordered a 20-inch pie, I was disappointed to find it mostly consisted of dough, stale cheese, and canned tomato sauce. I don’t understand what’s so hard about making pizza. Just take a trip to New York, visit a local pizzeria, learn from them, and replicate it. It's that simple!
