Big Tony's West Philly Cheesesteaks

I am giving this restaurant three stars to provide a neutral review as the quality of the food can be great but is not consistent. We have ordered delivery from this location through UberEats before. We have tried several menu items such as the Broadsteak, Pepper Cheesesteak, Mushroom Cheesesteak, The Rocky, and The Vet. The fries were usually good, and we also enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and spicy fried pickles. However, sometimes the bread was hard and the meat and cheese ratio was low. Despite these issues, we continued to support them because we believed in their potential. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn for the worse when we decided to pick up our order in person. The staff was unwelcoming and even spoke negatively about us when they didn't realize we could hear them. This incident showed us their true colors, and we have decided not to return to a place where we are not welcomed. It seems like there have been other reviews mentioning similar experiences with the staff. It is disappointing because we used to enjoy this restaurant, but I am not willing to spend my money where there is blatant disrespect.

The best cheesesteak I have found in North Texas so far. It is surprisingly hard to find a place that uses Cheese Whiz.

This restaurant serves the best Philly cheesesteak in Dallas. There are 3 locations, and I visited the one on Preston Rd. Oh my goodness! Whatever the special is for that day, definitely order it!

The fries… 10/10. I really wanted to like the cheesesteak but unfortunately did not. The hoagie was great but the meat was bland and the cheese was not melty so the sandwich ate very dry. I did try the sauce and that was alright. It’s not the best cheesesteak you’ll have but the service is great and did I mention the fries are amazing!

Great quality of food, good quantity, friendly ppl. The only reason service is docked is bc they are not consistent service. I ordered/paid for premium sides, got home and realized they had given me their standard fries. This is a fast-food level mistake and has occurred several times to this regular, revisiting customer.
