The atmosphere and service were wonderful, although we did not try the buffet. The fried rice and crispy pata were not hot when served, making the crispy pata a little tough. I cannot comment on the buffet options. However, the pinaso was delightful and highly recommended. The caramelized sugar topping was slightly burnt and the texture a bit dense, but still delicious.
I would like to give Bistro Maloleño 5 stars because I believe their food is underrated. However, I must say that their service is lacking. Among all the restaurants in Bulacan, Bistro Maloleño has one of the worst services. When we arrived, we were the only guests and it took a long time for someone to approach us with menus and take our orders. Our table was not clean and the other waiters were just watching a noontime show. This is not the first time we have experienced poor service here. The only reason we keep coming back is because of the food, but we may eventually get tired of that too. It's a shame because this place has potential. Ironically, they also offer catering services and I can't imagine what kind of service they provide there.
Food-wise great! Location and Ambiance a little bit off
The taste was average and nothing stood out. The caldereta only had one piece of meat with a large bone filled with tendons, which was disappointing.
