It's been a long time since I had one of those blizzards. The one I just had was horrible. There were no recees cups in it. It was basically a cup of soft serve for 5.00. The drive through girl was rude too. Maybe she was in a hurry. Seemed hyped up on something.

While traveling, we stopped at this Dairy Queen for lunch. We had the BLT salad and the garden salad, both with chicken. Both were very good and the portions were very generous. We recommend this Dairy Queen and will return when we are in the area again.

The hamburger was microwaved so long it was hard and chewy. I would have said something but it bought it in the drive thru.

I went through the drive-thru. Line was a bit long, but it went pretty quickly. Good service and the prices are a little cheaper than the DQ's that are part of a convenience store chain around this area.

Wash the I70 trail dust down your gullet with a double cheeseburger and a bubbling soda pop. Top it off with some of the finest soft serve vanilla ice-cream east of the mighty Mississippi river.
