Johnny B's - Dahlonega

This is the place to find the absolutely best burgers in 50 miles. Much better than any chain and very big. There are no quarters here, they start at half a pound and if you're a big boy like me, you can get the full burger. But it's not just the size. The taste... Baked to a perfectly crunchy crust on the burgers, high quality fried bacon and the onion rings are also quite good.

On a recent trip to Dahlonega it was one of the only places to eat late at night. Happy to say that it was not disappointed. Despite the facility for a college night (seat up and a DJ), they put me and a mate at a table in the corner and we both packed the wings recommended by a girl in the parking lot. Wings were great, service was also. Absolutely good to go.

Friendly staff and the food was great. The onion rings could not have been better. I couldn't give 5 stars because my waitress, though friendly, she was slow on drinks refills and getting slower on my ticket so I could pay and go. As far as a restaurant, ingeniously eats with a hometown bar. My problem was very close to 1 person. Maybe she had a day off. Given the chance, I will return without hesitation. Also I went during the time of Covid-19 and they have a big garbage can in the middle of the floor and want you to drive your own table. Add that to make sure you don't get away from the guard like I did.

Good local restaurant. If you want a packed bar scene, come to Thurs-Sat. Their wings are fantastic on non-special days, but I had bad experiences with the wings tiny on the days they have their special (Tues Sat). Many of tv. When the bar is packed, it is most students. Other times it is a uniform mix between locals and students. The veranda is equipped with seating and outdoor seating. Interiors are available near the bar and a separate room.

Pizza and service was amazing, was told they’re famous for their wings so next visit I’m trying the wings.
