They also had vegetable milk available. The prices were reasonable, and the food was very fresh. Additionally, their espresso was excellent.
I went back to the restaurant two more times, but was disappointed each time. The V omelet was not what I expected and was only okay. The third visit was the worst. My friend and I felt uncomfortable bringing up issues with our order because there were so many. The V combo breakfast is not entirely vegan, and substituting vegan components costs extra. During one visit, my friend had to send back a kombucha that tasted off. When we mentioned it to the owner, she said she liked it that way and wanted it like that. This response seemed selfish and dismissive of customer feedback. It was just poor service overall. I will not be returning to this restaurant. (Review updated on March 18, 2022)
Pfannkuchen has beautiful aromas and presentation, but the finish is too sweet and the granola was disappointing. Unfortunately, there is no allergen information on the menu, leading to a potential risk of cross-contamination. While they did exchange the granola for a nut mix, the lack of consideration for allergies was concerning. The variety of kombuchas available was enjoyable, but some were overly sour and undrinkable. The omelet did not resemble a traditional omelet but was still edible. However, my third visit was the worst as several issues arose with my order. The combo breakfast was not entirely vegan, and substitutions for vegan options incurred additional charges. One of my friends had to return a kombucha that was undrinkable, and when we mentioned this to the owner, she dismissed our feedback and insisted that the kombucha was meant to taste that way. This response was selfish and unacceptable, leading me to remove the restaurant from my list of places to revisit.
