Giant Koala Restaurant Tourist Complex

Stopped here for a photo opportunity with the kids and a couple of coffees and hot chocolate for the road. Kids obviously loved the giant koala, gift shop was not very appealing. Very bland needs a brighten up. Cafe was fine, staff were nice however looks a bit run down. Coffee average, hot chocolates nice. Wouldn't go out of my way to stop again though.

Driven by so many times and never stopped. worth a break. quaint and so typical of big is best. glowing eyes a bit scary

We HAD to stop for a photo with what we call "The Big Koala" but Giant Koala it is. A quirky attraction with souvenirs inside the koala; upstairs seemed to be a personal collection of vintage wares. Purchased takeaway drinks only from the cafe. A fun photo opportunity.

Having sriven past this place regularly over a 12mth period, decided to stop with the young kids one day. Bit pricey to go in & see the animals but the kids enjoyed the stop-over & chance to stretch the legs. Didn't visit restaurant so can't comment on that. Glad we did stop and sure foreign tourists would enjoy it.

Great photo opportunity if your passing through but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.Gift shop is tired and top level is just being used for storing junk, cafe is also a bit drab but okay for a quick snack. Certainly needs a bit of TLC...
