Had dinner here recently with some friends. food was great, big shout out to Nici the waitress, she was exceptional. couldnt do enough for us. we will be back

I am sorry to say that our lunch was not up to expectations. Starters were OK, except for the brie which was so overcooked the brie had mostly gone. The wait between starters and mains was incredibly long, which was difficult with a hungry toddler, and the starter dishes were still on the table when the mains arrived! All the mains were overcooked with the tiniest pieces of meat on the triple roast. The staff did bring another piece when we queried this however. The Pork was mainly fat and inedible. The Chicken very dry and the Chicken pies contents were a mystery .. not what was expected. All for £33 per head was sadly extremely disappointing.

We had a fabulous takeaway Sunday roast dinner today, it was superb, the best takeaway roast, I would recommend.

Had the pleasure of having our first take away roast dinner from the rose and crown,meat cooked to perfection lovely selection of fresh vegetables all tasty and wrapped well to take away. Highly recommended and so nice to be able to support a small business in such hard times

I tried my first takeout roast dinner a couple of weeks ago with my daughter and we absolutely loved it. The quality of the food was outstanding, and we were able to choose our favorite items from the menu or select everything. The portion sizes were amazing, and the potatoes and gravy were especially delicious. I have since returned with friends to eat in at the restaurant, and they also raved about the food. The customer service was exceptional.
