I visited on a weekday just after 7pm and was seated right away, as there were only a few other customers. I ordered the special ramen for 580 yen and added fried rice for an extra 300 yen. The ramen was a classic tonkotsu broth, light and flavorful. The medium-thin noodles were cooked just right, with a nice firmness. The special ramen, typical of Saga, came with a raw egg which added a creamy richness when mixed with the noodles halfway through. The fried rice was delicious, especially with a touch of Worcestershire sauce from the condiment table. In addition to tonkotsu ramen, they also offered Chuka soba, miso ramen, and champon. The restaurant was spacious and had plenty of parking. They also had hand sanitizer and clear partitions for COVID-19 safety measures.
This is a ramen shop located along Route 34, near the Omachi Town Hall. I came here to try Saga ramen. There are about 20 parking spaces for cars and 6 spaces for large vehicles. The restaurant is spacious, with counter seats, table seating, and raised seating areas. This time, I ordered the "Chashu-men" for ¥680, large rice for ¥150, and a raw egg for ¥50. Pickled ginger and pickles are self-service. The soup is rich and made with pork bones. The chashu is thinly sliced and quite large. The meat is delicious and goes well with the rice.
