I ordered the special ramen for 580 yen and added fried rice for an extra 300 yen. The ramen had a traditional tonkotsu broth that was light and flavorful. The noodles were medium-thin and cooked just right for my taste. The special ramen, typical of Saga, came with a raw egg which added a creamy texture when mixed with the noodles halfway through the meal. I also tried the fried rice which was delicious, especially when I added a bit of Worcestershire sauce from the condiments on the table. In addition to pork bone ramen, the menu also featured Chinese soba, miso ramen, and champon. The restaurant was spacious and had a large parking lot. They also had hand sanitizers and clear barriers in place for COVID-19 prevention.
This is a ramen shop located along Route 34, near Omachi Town Hall. I came here to try Saga ramen. There is parking space for about 20 regular cars and 6 large vehicles. The interior is spacious, with a counter, table seating, and raised floor seating. This time, I ordered the "Chashu noodles" for 680 yen, a large bowl of rice for 150 yen, and a raw egg for 50 yen. Pickled ginger and pickled vegetables are self-serve. The soup is relatively rich with a pork bone base. The chashu is thinly sliced and generously portioned. The flavor of the meat is excellent and goes well with the rice.
