Food was great tasting. The arroz con gandules was a bit dry/older than the white rice w/beans. Pernil is done a bit different. Would suggest the beef stew. Do note, they close early for dinner time .Food: 5/5

Puerto Rican eating places often come and go in the LA area. And, there has always been very few of them, totally unlike ie back in “Puerto Rican New York”. Señor Big Ed is one establishment that has been here for years. Outstanding Puerto Rican dishes (as well as Mexican dishes). Great service and a clean restaurant. Good, reasonable prices. Also, a display of Puerto Rican stickers and flags, etc for sale. Highly recommended, wepa!

Food was excellent and service was very good and very fast, even on Mothers Day. I will be back, and definitely will recommend this cool Puerto Rican restaurant.
