I came to this place because of the positive reviews and I was super disappointed! The kind faced waiter suggested I have the seafood couscous and he was adamant that it was great so I ordered it. It came with 3 deep fried calamari rings on top of a pile of couscous and a tiny bit of broth on the side. I stirred through my meal to find some fish and there were only a couple of small overcooked prawns. Half way through the waiter asked me how my meal was and I told him I was not happy and showed him my dry seafood free couscous and he asked me if he could do something for me. Maybe a few grilled vegetables to help me finish the cous cous? He soon returned with some paper thin almost crispy slices of eggplant and zucchini and some more broth. Okay, I finished my wine, ordered a cannoli and coffee and paid. The chef, the owner and kitchen hand all came out to give me a dirty look and on my bill they even charged me for the dry vegetables that were to compensate for the non existent seafood. Truly, this was the worst food experience in my many years of travel in Italy.

The site appears an unassuming café and pastry shop, but the restaurant inside has some first rate local cuisine (actually the café and pastries are excellent as well). We went there to dine one evening, and it was so good we returned the next evening as well. The choice is limited to the specialties of the area, but they are quite superb, and the personnel are very cooperative in explaining the dishes.

Local on the road simple but co n fast service. Good first, good desserts!
