I am very happy this place has re-opened. The last time I ate here was in 2001 as a kid. Although just recently reopened, the staff has adapted to the large number of guests they have for lunch. We were seated, ordered, and had our food in front of us in a little over 10 minutes in the middle of the lunch rush. The food was hot and fresh. We will definitely be coming back soon!
We eat in the Four Winds last Saturday. Came for the Rangers Burgers, and they were not disappointed! Had three of them between the 4 adults and 4 children and barely finished them. They tasted great, just like a diner hamburger. Our waitress, Shakayla, was great. Even additional rolls brought us to divide the burger meat. We ate again on the terrace and were all alone. Great area for the kids before the food came.
If you are looking for huge tasty hamburgers, friendly staff and a bit of military history, this is the place for you. A long tradition for pathfinders, airborne and Ranger instructors. Rangers lead the way, all the way!
I've been a loyal customer for about 30 years. Through all openings, closures and changes of owners/readers. The decor is the best it ever was, and I love to support local, small businesses. (Although it is about 35 miles from my house). The food is still fantastic, but I really don't like to pay $20 for a Hamburg meal. I know that restaurants run on a razor thin margin, and also that the food prices Skyrocketed, but I still have a problem with paying $20 (again, generous lace included). It's still a great place, with great food, and it's nostalgic for me to know that I can still eat a full-size Ranger Burger (although I can see it today when I step on the scale).
