Restaurantul Domnesc - Curtea de Argeş

I don't know why some customers were dissatisfied. Maybe they are just coincidences. We don't behave or do everything ok either, but we don't admit it. This is the second time, with a difference of 3 years, that I have served a meal here. Very good food, even delicious, and prices more than OK. Don't imagine that I came from Bucharest to have a glass of water and a coffee. I forgot to add. For those who are hungry, try the nearby bombs. You can see that further down the valley, on a street to the left, there is a market with tiribombes. They have pint washing and small greens!

Following an indication in a guide, I went as a couple to this restaurant. The experience was disappointing. The service is not welcoming at all. The waiters do not scramble to welcome customers, so we have seen several times customers who escape after a very long wait without anyone coming to see them. And this even though the restaurant was almost empty! The server we served was borderline polite. We wondered if we were bothering him... We ordered pizzas whose dough was quite salty. The quality price ratio is not at the appointment. Regarding the atmosphere, the very high music makes you dizzy. In short, really not terrible.

I took two frappes and a pizza. The drinks were excellent, but the pizza was terrible. It is full of oil, the toppings are thrown away cold (probably because it is frozen... , the crust is raw and tastes like frozen food. I won't say that I asked what each pizza had on it because I didn't want onions and I got a pizza with onions. In addition, I didn't even have napkins at the table.

Very decent prices: 12 lei for a Frappe, 25 lei for a cocktail, 25 lei for garnished meat, 25 pastrami, 40 fish and chips, 80 lei seafood pan, 25 lei lava cake. Really very reasonable and tasty. Not very crowded like in other terraces. It deserves more than the 4.1 it has now. At least the service, atmosphere and food in August 2023 were very good!
