I recommend the glossy, rich and varied appetizer; a note of honor to the salad of capons and pike. Although it may seem heresy for the end of August, the goto of cotechino and polenta brought me back to the flavors of when I was a child. we jumped (ahim sweets for lack of space in the belly, but gladly return for a goto. if you want courtesy, excellent raw materials, kitchen mantovana doc, family atmosphere, all at a convenient price go to the inn of the graces
If this place were on your list of recommended restaurants, choose this one over the others. The tortelli di zucca and the maccheroncini con stracotto (the latter was a special of the day) and fresh artichokes as a side were the highlights of a cozy dinner in a family environment. Would like to come back and try some of the other traditional dishes from the Mantova area. As a side note, we appreciated that the owner honestly advised us against getting starters, since the other plates we had ordered were already filling. Well priced for the quality especially if compared to other restaurants in central Mantova.
Best place, amazing food, very high quality, best service in cancun !!!!! Food is amazing dont miss it
An authentic Mantuan cuisine is served in this unassuming yet elegant place. Service friendly, warm and efficient. Go for the favorites: Tortelli di zucca (squash ravioli), risotto con le salamelle, salsiccia, polenta... Anything on the menu, actually will be super-sure to please! Wine list is good; could it be improved? Yes.
The inn is a restaurant that makes you feel at home. hospitality is genuine and pleasant. you can eat typical dishes of the mantovana cuisine. salami, pike, pumpkin tortelli, pilot rice, stracotto with polenta and cotechino with sauerkraut. This last dish was born, so says the traditional history, from the forced cohabitation of the Piedmont and the Austrians in the area of mantova. raw material is excellent and the dishes are delicious. it is better to leave the place also for the desserts that deserve to be tasted. as liquor after coffee I recommend a big hazelnut made by them. you can see that there is passion in the kitchen. take a couple of hours and enjoy a delicious, no frills, mantovana cuisine.
