The Beach Shack - Curepipe

This is a wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. They offer and showcase fresh local fish, as well as steaks. The prices are quite reasonable. Overall, it was my best dining experience at Flic en Flac Beach.

Great food, beautiful landscape, good collection of wine. they also have one of the best car rentals in the country.

My girlfriend and I were at The Beach Shack for Lunch. The restaurant was empty and they had some sort of strange music, but the place looked nice. We both had a burger and a starter and everything was absolutely delicious (like really! . I think it was the best food we had on our 10 day Mauritius trip and we visited a lot of places. Unfortunately the toilet was a little bit musty and the waiter didn 't look very motivated. Would go there again because of the great food.

The service was excellent, but I found the burger bun to be somewhat lacking.

The restaurant has an appealing atmosphere and the staff is friendly, though somewhat formal. The food was excellent, but on the pricier side. On my first visit, they only offered wine by the glass, but on my second visit, they had some nice bottles available. The filet steak was outstanding.
