Egghead Cafe - Cupertino

This place is okay. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and there were a good amount of people around. Having tried Eggslut before, my friend and I wanted to try this place out. We ordered: Eggy $9.00): A coddled egg on top of a potato purée, poached in a glass jar, topped with bacon and chives, and served with slices of baguette. This was pretty good! Hawaiian Morning Sandwich $9.75): A sandwich with brioche buns, spam, egg, arugula, and grilled onion with ketchup and mayo. My friend ordered this and I tried a piece and it was just okay to me. The Chic Sandwich $9.75): A sandwich with brioche buns, fried chicken, arugula, egg, and spicy mayo. This was good, but I felt like the chicken just tasted like any other popcorn chicken you would get at a boba spot. Tater Tots $3.50): This was yummy and crispy! Overall, the sandwiches here were okay. I didn't find anything too special about them.

This was my first time coming to Egghead and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Not bad! I can tell why the strawberry matcha latte is such a big hit. The sandwiches are instagram worthy indeed. The Chick rating: 3/5 I got The Chic which included a battered fried chicken, arugula, egg, and house sauce in a brioche bun. If you've ever had the popcorn chicken with the spicy powder at Quickly's this is exactly what this chicken taste like. It was also a tad dry so I wish there was more of the house sauce to make the sandwich moist. The cashier told me the egg would be runny which is exactly what I wanted but unfortunately the egg was over cooked and the yolk was not runny. The presentation was definitely on point and I like how the sandwich was stacked. The Scramble rating: 3/5 My boyfriend decided to get the Scramble. This sandwich had scrambled eggs, chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and spicy mayo in a brioche bun. There wasn't much caramelized onions in the sandwich so I wish there was more. The Scramble was a lot more moist and the spicy Mayo sauce was good too. There wasn't really much texture to this sandwich since all the ingredients are soft. I would consider adding bacon next time to add some crunch. Strawberry Match Latte rating: 5:5 We share the Strawberry Match Latte as our drink and thinking about it I wish we got our own! Haha. This was the best thing we ordered. You get well balance hints of all the flavors including the strawberry and match.

Friend and I really enjoyed this brunch spot. was a small square with tables outside and everything was fresh as the broth rolls. the sand I chose was the chic with the beautiful baked huh. reminds me of bobahu they receive from tapioca express. with the aoili sauce and the kale and the egg was very delicious. my friend got the B.E.C (bacon, ei, cheese) and they enjoyed every bite. forget what we have, but they were both pink and strawberry. now for the funnel I propose to get the eggy with her eating. as soon as they're done with the cookies that came with him. use the egg mix to administer their sandwiches. trust me, it goes hard

4/4/2022 Bae was so upset last Friday. We were on the phone the whole entire time from beginning of order to end of pick up. He knew exactly what I had to endure so he took it upon himself to call them Saturday morning to let them know what had happened to me. I would had let it go since that isn't in my nature to even complain. It was busy I get it but at the same time you messed up my complete order. He spoke to a Maria and she apologized on egghead's behalf and asked us to come by to get a freebie on them but instead Bae said we will come Monday morning. Bae called this morning at 7am and Maria happened to be there. Says it will be ready at 7:15am. When I got there, Maria asked me what happened and I didn't want to have to explain again if she already heard from her her co worker and the fact that I have this on Yelp! She said she gave me more baguettes. Here a picture of my eggy. It is runny and they didn't take the time to put an egghead logo. Definitely their portion is smaller. So why give me more baguette's. Gave me my tots but it's crazy. I'm appreciative Bae did this for me but I'll accept this for what it is.

Friendly staff, fast service, modern/hip vibe, fresh handmade brioche buns onsite, multiple breakfast options....what else can you ask for? What, drinks? Oh yeah...teas, hojicha, coffee drinks, matcha. Come thru and checked out. I'm a breakfast lover and their food is sinfully delicious !
