Village Burger - Cumming

I walked in one hour before closing and was met with blank stares like I was inconveniencing the restaurant. No one said hello or how may I help you. Not one word was spoken to me before I ordered. The person at the register just stared off in to the distance for a good long while. A customer experience begins with the register. The food is good so I will give this place another try but why would I go somewhere like this just to be stared at and not given a friendly “hello, what would you like” or even spoken to at all. It’s just burgers and fries and I can get those literally anywhere else. The cooks and people bringing the food to the table are probably all great and hard workers. The guy who brought our food to the table was nice and asked if we needed anything. All I would have liked to have happened is just a normal human interaction at the counter before I spend my money to support your business. Voluntary exchange of money for services with a smile. Like I said, this place has one more chance for me and I will change my review if it is better next time.

The food was fire! Sooooo yummy and def hit the spot after running around all morning. The prices are just as great! In times likes these having reasonably priced food is a huge plus! They aren’t chincy on the portions either. Chill place, great food, polite staff, not much more you can ask for

Quick but not fast food. Good burger, I wish it was a little bigger but it was tasty. Seasoned home fries were good. Kinda thin and crispy. Not that huge whole potato kinda fry. The place was reasonably priced and easy to park in back. I’ll eat there again soon.

A really good local burger place. The burgers are very inexpensive and very good. Atmosphere is very nice, just a chill spot to hang out with friends or grab some lunch quickly. Got my food almost immediately and loved it. Good toppings for the burgers, but most of all their beef is surprisingly high quality for how cheap it is. Overall a wonderful experience and I will certainly be returning.Kid-friendliness: Perfect place to bring kids, despite the simplistic menu. If your kids don't want a burger they can always get other options like their chicken tenders or wings, both of which are good.

I’m sad to review this one, because it’s normally so great. We’ve been many times and have commented that it’s one of the best burgers in ATL metro.If last night had been our first visit, it would be our last. The burgers were so incredibly greasy, they fell apart in our hands. The plate had a pool of grease in it, afterward. They forgot bacon on my wife’s burger, which is another $1.50. The “crispy” fries were overly greasy and soggy.Went to wash my dripping, greasy hands and the hot water didn’t even work in the men’s room. What’s that say for staff cleanliness?We get to go out once or twice a month, and we often chose this location. It won’t be the next choice. It’s expensive. Ya need to nail it!C’mon, we know y’all can do so much better!
