New Mexican restaurant on Keith Bridge. Stopped by to try it out for lunch. Nice clean restaurant, several TV's. Thought the prices for lunch were high. And mine did not come with any sides. I ordered a side of chips salsa and it was like $4.50, when they have a salsa bar! Chips at Moe's are like $2 and they fill up a whole bag! So my lunch, with tip, was around $14. Kind of high for a lunch I thought. Food was good but I felt mine was shy in the meat department. The first order of chips I received were either stale or undercooked. 2nd order was much better. I tried something different, Huarache de Tinga, but wasn't overly impressed. There was more corn based tortilla than chicken veggies. As I am sure they are working out the kinks, I will give it another try and see if I think differently. If so, will update my rating. Will also try something more familiar.
Absolutely amazing! I don’t know why there aren’t more ratings but you are missing out if you haven’t been here. Really wish they were open after 6:00pm.
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Everything is freshly made to order with authentic recipes. Note you will not be served the obligatory nachos Americans expect. Nor are you charged for them like every other Mexican restaurant. I mention this because some reviewers complained. I repeat, this is authentic Mexican, not a Tex Mex . The salsa bar has a variety of choices from mild to spicy sauces, salad, onions, and peppers. I personally love the pickled jalapenos. My wife and I have standard order for Fajita Fridays Fajitas 306 : The dish is plenty for the two of us, comes with beef, chicken, shrimp and potatoes; along with a serving of salad, beans, rice, tortillas, and pico de gallo. My wife would never order without her Jamaica to drink, also! COVID 19: They are now serving pick up orders and part of the dining room is open to keep occupancy down.
I have NEVER felt so ripped off from a taco place!! The Regular Tacos are the size of what you would get as a mini-taco anywhere and they are $2.50 each!! I paid $14.50 basically for a snack!!! (4) tacos and a small coke bottle. Everything is miniature from the cups they give you salsa in the the size drinks that they sell. I guess they are ok if you just want a SNACK but make sure you go on payday because if your hungry you would be just as well going somewhere like Ray 's on the River for the price. I would highly suggest Carniciera Hernandez.
