I've noticed that they’re always out of their flavors. To the owner: after trying to get something for the third or fourth time and being disappointed, I decided to stop wanting things I can't have. Even though I’ve waited in long lines and felt like I had to buy something from their menu (which doesn’t seem to be fully stocked), I’m still 19 visits away from being satisfied. If they make their offerings fresh, it would be great if they could stock up on the dragon fruit and mango dragon fruit sorbet, especially since it seems to be popular.
I have a milk allergy, and my partner wanted ice cream, so we were thrilled to discover this place that offers two oat milk ice cream options on the menu! It was quite crowded for a Sunday night.
The ice was fantastic! The texture was just right, and there was a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I particularly loved the sea salt caramel toffee and the lime cake; both are definitely among my favorites.
I recall when one of the first Bruster's opened in Duluth 25 years ago, and they're still consistently serving delicious ice cream. Their flavors are reliably good, and I'm pleased to see they now offer vegan and dairy-free options. As a foodie, I would love to see a monthly artisanal flavor featured, perhaps something like Strawberry Black Peppercorn with Dark Chocolate Bits.
