The coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans all tasted strikingly familiar, and this was my first visit there. I’m pretty sure those were just Bush's baked beans from a can. I was very disappointed! It felt like just another hole-in-the-wall place serving smoked meat and pre-made sides.

We visited the restaurant for Father's Day and ordered several items from the menu. Unfortunately, everything on our plates was cold. I was surprised that it wasn't very busy for a Sunday lunch on Father's Day. Overall, we were disappointed and have no interest in returning.

The side dishes were small but just right. The chicken broth was also perfectly sized. I had the pork, and it was a generous portion—about 8 ounces. Well done; I would definitely come back!

We went yesterday for the All you can eat Friday Fried Catfish! The catfish and fried okra were delicious! We also loved the friendly and inviting welcome of the people working there.
