Thiptop Thai Food - Culemborg

I came by here by chance yesterday. I was on a 200km bike ride and had to stop for lunch. It's not really a restaurant. They mainly focus on takeout. There is 1 table for 2 and a table for 6. I had to go through the kitchen to use the toilet. The people were all very nice. The service was excellent and the food is great. Also the way the food was served. It was in a kind of cooking pot on a nice wooden warming plate. I had a curry and it was delicious. I would make a detour here to eat there again.

Lured by the high Google reviews, we went to eat here on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. This is actually for take-away, but there are also a few tables. We were received very kindly. We had a lovely, quiet meal here with generous portions and affordable prices. Here we cook with love with fresh ingredients. If you walk in here around 6 o'clock unsuspectingly, you may have to wait a very long time. So order well in advance. If only we had such a restaurant with us in Groningen... Super tasty food! Also vegetarian. Well packaged to eat warm at home. Definitely worth the wait! Eating on location is also possible, but that is not romantic, with the TV on...
