El Colorin - Cuernavaca

The servers are friendly. Waiting time is eternal. You will give you the menu 10 minutes after your arrival. You will give your food 20 minutes after the order. You will give your account 15 minutes after request. This restaurant is very slow for everything.

Good food. Appropriate prices. Try the Chiles Rellenos and the Sopes. Homemade tortillas right at the grill, you will not be disappointed.

The setting is very nice, traditional, and yet, laid back. on the mid-range in terms of price, but worth every penny. Do try their chile en nogada. I am yet to have a better one in Mexico (and I have traveled quite a bit)....Perhaps is not the best in general, but I would go for consistency, and perhaps I've been to other places when it was not as good. Bottom line: delicious. Their coffee and chilaquiles are great too.

I had lunch at this cantena with business colleagues. The decor is delightfully colourful and spacious. The kitchen operates in full view much like in a regular home with large pots of bubbling mole and chili sauce on view. All of the dishes were delicious....Of particular note were the chili rellenos which were filled with a tasty, spicy meat, vegetable and fruit mixture. The sauces over anything were excellent.

This is the “fancy neighborhood” Branch of the original Los Colorines restaurant in downtown Cuernavaca. Again we enjoyed our selection: Green mole is always excellent; Beef with green tomatoes was very good and delicious, with the meat so soft that no knife was required. Napkins... size is fine and the price is not too bad. The waiter service was a little slow, but very attentive.
