This was truly a fantastic dining experience. We started with the flower dumplings which are absolutely beautiful. We ordered the shrimp in clay pot and the roasted duck curry. Both were excellent, but the duck curry was a clear favorite. Highly recommended!
My partner and I often discuss when I leave critique, but there is nothing to discuss. one of the best places we visited here, it is some of the best Thai food we had. can't find anything to complain... about
Average Thai food in a pretty environment. It was fine. Portions were insultingly small and the price was oddly high. Pomelo salad was ok. All of the food came out barely warm. Pad Thai was average. Fried rice was on par with any average Chinese...restaurant in the US. The place was pretty. That’s really the only reason to go here. I’m pretty baffled by all the great reviews. It’s not better than any decent Thai place in the US and certainly not better than many I visit.
My Thai wife forces me to go to Thai restaurants all over the world even though we spend half our year in Thailand. First, it's true that the portions are small and the prices high. We spent about $60 US for 3 dishes no alcohol... nearly a record. BUT, we loved the preparation and quality of the food. The food has traditional flavors and ingredients but has an international flair.. for example, we've never seen the stir fried eggplant with tofu prepared the same. But a good chef will always want to change things a bit and the chef is Thai. You may not be happy with the food if you are used to the good typical Thai restaurants in the US, but it is a notch above and that costs you.
