St. Johns Tavern - Crystal River

They have a wide variety of craft beers, so I recommend getting one and having a nice lunch/dinner. The winner of our meal was the pretzel. It was hot, fried, salty, and so darn delicious with the beer cheese. My fiancé said he could eat one of theseevery week, and I agree with him. Just get one and you?ll know. We also shared the smash burger with French fries. Burger wasdelicious, though one person could def eat the whole thing. We got the fry up charge which wasn?t worth it in my opinion, but toeach their own. Overall, I will for sure be back. It was super delicious, the staff are friendly, service was quick, and I justreally liked the vibe of the whole place. It?s in DT crystal river, so parking may be meh to get, but hey a walk around townbefore or after dinner really isn?t a bad thing. I?m sorry my burger picture isn?t the best, it looked so good I immediatelytore into it! We also got the fixings and I gave them to my fiancé for his half of the burger.

Just overall great place to eat and relax after manatee watching! Decent selection of beers on tap, tasty food, very friendly and fast service! Cozy atmosphere inside!

We took a ride out to rural king and decided to find some food out nearby. St John's came up and we stopped in for some late afternoon drinks and a snack. First off the location itself is great, really nice little strip to walk down with plenty of shopsand restaurants. The interior was very fresh and clean with a friendly tavern feel. Al, our bar tender was hilarious and a bitof a ball breaker, but his drinks were ???? and his shots were more like cocktails themselves! Super friendly and local staff.As for the food, we were going to order more but after we got through the giant pretzel appetizer we were both very full and wewill need to try the rest of the menu soon. The pretzel was delicious though and the beer cheese sauce as well. Most surprisingwas how affordable the drinks were, even though its 30 minutes away this will most definitely be a new spot we take friends andgo out for a nice night. Would absolutely recommend st John's tavern. ????

Very nice clean bar/restaurant! We had blt,burger, monster pastrami corn beef sandwich!also had there homemade chips as appetizer! Food is very good fulfilling!
