Shrimp Landing Seafood - Crystal River

We showed up on a Friday night at 5:50 and the guys happily fixed us a great meal before closing up. The fried fish had a batter to die for. Best I ever had. Add it to the list of cool places to eat. We had the dock to ourselves after everyone left. :

We have been going to Shrimp Landing for years. We do not live close but when we are in the area we stop. Sorry to say that will not happen again. We were in the area and stopped for lunch. We placed our order for 2 shrimp baskets. Not a problem stated the waitress it will not take long and be out soon. 45 minutes later people that came in after us had their meals, plus shrimp. Had to ask where our order was because we were ignored by our waitress. Have no idea why we were being ignored other than she had table full of men she was joking with. That was her excuse that we did not get our food because she was taking care of them. Yet some of the people that came after us was served by her. Interesting when asked about our order she came out with it and said it just came out and was really hot. Really!! Other people had their shrimp orders in less than five minutes. I guess she thought we were believing her excuses. Do not know what happened with Shrimp Landing food is good, but the service went from a five to zero. Since our daughter is a chef, we know how the kitchen is ran. Guess you should not be telling people a bunch of words and just tell them the truth that you messed up. Not to mention the waitress had time to talk with her co-workers at the cash register, instead of making her sure her customers are taken care of.

Delicious fresh seafood. Reasonable portions for price. Can get fried, grilled, or blackened. Location is ? beautiful.
