The Freeze - Crystal Lake

A cool little place. Many varieties of ice and cones. They also have cheese strips, chicken strips, corn dogs, among others. We had the coconut, the salty dog and the corn dog. I wish they had a restroom.

Pretty good, food was solid, ice was very good and had a lot of options. People were nice too. Fast service. Overall pretty good experience. Just the reason I didn't give him five was because the food didn't blow my mind, but still good food.

What can I say , soft serve ice cream. HELL YEAH .

Suggestion to the owner, it's time for you to remodel, or seriously expand. One service window is not going to cut it, when your line wraps all the way around the building. This establishment deserves the same attention as Jameson Charhouse. Good food great prices A turn key of returning customers consistently. Open the counter up, to serve the masses. Don't worry about going fishing. Get the yacht first. Your retirement awaits you. Anyways, I'd love to see this historic place in C.L. take on a face lift. It needs it. It's time. Don't miss out! It's a great place. Something for everyone that's surely to bring a smile. Glad to see this place, still alive and kickin. Double dip twist cone, or the famous black cow. Awesome . Just can't beat the place, on a hot day. Get there early.
