Jameson's Charhouse Crystal Lake

The Steak is tender and delicious, excellent free hot bread but unfortunately the pasta was horrible! One huge lump pretty much indigestible. Stick to the Steak!

The hostess, young, rude, self-absorbed ****. Should be fired. No smiles. Just not hostess material. Fire her!!!<br/ <br/ Waitress was excellent. Attentive, pleasant and professional.<br/ <br/ food and wine selections excellent. Has grilled octopus. Salas with delectable creamy garlic. Filer with a side of grilled artichoke.<br/ <br/ Superbly satisfied with the dining. Fire the hostesses. Worthless and unprofessional.<br/ <br/ For Crystal Lake I highly recommend.

I think the menu is great in that you can eat something very good for a fair price. I had the walleye that may be 'pricey ' but it is outstanding. Never found anyone to be rude very nice place.

Great Steaks. This is quite frankly the best restaurant in Crystal Lake. It's a great place to have a steak, but it's best to hit it up early, as this place always seems crowded. <br/ <br/ The wait staff is well-trained and attentive. I've been here quite a few times, and I've never had a problem with any of the waitresses I've had.<br/ <br/ Beyond steaks, I really have no opinion of their other foods. I only come here to order a prime rib, top sirloin, or what have you, as I am familiar with the other locations Jameson's has in the suburban areas. At those locations as well, I pretty much stuck with the specialty. I can say that Crystal Lake compares with the other ones.

Very Impressed. This restaurant used to be a Bennigan's.The interior is refined yet relaxed. The steaks are superb! Other menu items are great too. Friendly service and valet parking (not that it's really needed). I would recommend reservations during the weekend. Some of CL's best dining in my opinion.
