Starbucks - Croydon

Twice my chai latte tastes like hot water and once they gave me the wrong drink. when I called, they said they were to be reordered, but I said no, because I have to pay an additional service fee. I don't know if they are under the personal or not, but their service is really slow. sometimes two employees take orders and only one person makes all drinks they must wait 40 to 45 minutes for a drink. please trained staff to make a good latte and also pay attention in ordering. dieuck's coffee is expensive.

The seats are very uncomfortable and very close together and the place is tiny. Not very Clean and normally full of kids. Staff are nice.

Whenever in Croydon I will usually treat myself to a Starbucks! There are 2 different Starbucks in Croydon and I always make sure to go to the one in Centrale! Unfortunately I do not like coffee, lol, but I love their frappuccinos. Around the holidays there is always a nice selection of different seasonal flavors for the coffees but again as I don't drink coffee they always go out of their way to use the flavoured syrups in a frappuccino for me, my favourite being the eggnog! I have tried the Starbucks a couple of times in Whitgift but when I ask if they can use the syrups for the coffee to make a frappuccino for me they just shake their head and grumble no. So as usual I then head to the Centale one and have learned not to waste my time at Whitgift. Once again the staff are always friendly and go out of their way to get you the drink that you really want and always service with a smile!

This branch of Starbucks in Centrale is different to the usual identikit outlet the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sonia and many others. A relatively peaceful place to do work or read. One small point of complaint is that there are too few power points to charge my ever depleting phone battery.

Visited as tourists and went in to ask what summer drinks they do as I couldn’t see posters anywhere. They pointed to the drinks cabinet. I asked for the refreshing, icy summer drinks that they make fresh but both staff members laughed at me and mocked me before saying “we think we do something with strawberry bits in that you can have?” I had to Google Starbucks menu to show them the drinks they are meant to be offering but by then I had given up with them so didn’t order.
