Canary Cafe - Croydon

I go here for breakfast or brunch- full English, poached eggs etc. Also do stuff for lunch with sandwiches, burgers, though not tried these. Cater nicely for kids too. There is a small terrace with flowers but by side of road, so tend to sit in. Coffees are good too. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere! Solid food.

My Daughter moved into the area and we needed some quick food for lunch on a Wednesday. The Canary didn't disappoint. We had a crispy bacon sandwich and a cheese omelette. They didn't stint on the ingredients. Beautifully cooked and really tasty. Only £6. Bargain. We'll be back.

After staying at a top hotel and being so disappointed with breakfast it was so good to have a decent breakfast , with friendly staff at a very reasonable price Poached eggs cooked to perfection , my only disappointment was I did not notice they served bubble until I was nearly finished Properly set for the day now

We always go here for a large Sunday breakfast with a hangover the food is good and the staff are friendly

I have been here many times now over the last two years and they are constantly serving excellent food with quick service. The fried breakfast is good value for money and not at all greasy. They make a decent cup of tea too! Highly recommended
