I waited for 2 hours, and some people still hadn't received their food. There was hair in the dishes. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1.

Don’t miss out on the Shrimp Fried Rice, their unique take on a salad, the delicious Hibachi Chicken, and the comforting Tokyo House Soup. Each dish was delightful and added to an overall fantastic meal.

We visited for the first time and had a terrible experience. The soup was basically just black broth with nothing in it, and it was quite unappetizing. The only thing we enjoyed was the appetizer, which was the fried shrimp—it was good. The salad was decent as well. However, everything else we ordered was disappointing, especially the hibachi steak and noodles. The rice was also bad. We tried the lobster, but it tasted unpleasant, almost like dirty dog hair. Overall, it was a terrible experience for $90.

My visit to Tokyo Japan left me disappointed. The restaurant had a mixed-up vibe with some staff in uniforms and others in casual wear. Sadly, the food didn't fare much better – our hibachi noodles and rice turned out more like a juicy soup than what was expected. The saving grace was the decent sushi they served. This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in all of Acadiana, and we've tried quite a few. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is always clean. The only improvement I would suggest is to offer a higher quality steak. I'm sure many customers would be willing to pay for that upgrade.
