This was an unexpected for my husband and I on our road trip to Florida.

Very friendly staff. The owner served us our food. We had seafood gumbo and I had blacked catfish with crawfish étouffée. Food was wonderful. Building is modern and kitchen is completely visible which is a major plus. Lots of regulars while we were here. Ignore any bad reviews. Seriously. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

We enjoyed breakfast at The Rice Palace this morning. My husband ordered the ham cheese omelet and it was a well served and very hearty breakfast. I enjoyed the breakfast wrap with the tortilla on the side. The combination of egg, bacon, cheeses, grilled onions and bell pepper with grits was awesome! I even ordered a side of biscuits also! Love it! I truly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great food for a reasonable price. Food: 5
