Strega - Crossing

Food was delicious. Main interest was the Parmesan wheel and our table was in the corner so we couldn't watch it be served table side. Windows were open and no ac, we are here the last weekend in June. Music was sooo loud. Basically had to yell. No dessert but we went to both Mikes and Modern pastry.

Worst brunch ever. the staff is AWFUL some of the rudest and most aggressive people i've ever met. we felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable as the owners daughter pranced around and we waited 45 mins to order food. the food was awful as well just easily the worst restaurant in boston

Our party of 4 had a brunch reservation. Our server, middle aged bald male, was extremely rude. Our order came out wrong and because the server didn't check on us, the order did not get fixed. As our meal went on, the music increased to a nightclub noise level. So, if you want to talk to anyone at your table, this is not the place for you. And to round out our terrible experience, our server added an auto gratuity to our bill party of 4) without telling us. Guess he knew that his terrible service would not warrant a better tip. I strongly recommend everyone to choose anywhere else but Strega. It was the worst!

Strega had a delicious cavatelli a la vodka and vodka sauce in general. The marinara was also light and delicious. Service was fantastic. However, the restaurant was crowded and way too loud. For the higher price of the food the restaurants environment was not up to par.

It is an extremely small place, with very small tables, which is fine. However, they were blasting music (like pop music), and had someone sing a few songs, so it was super loud in there. I couldn't talk to my husband right in front of me. I don't think the ambience is great for a romantic evening. My main meal was fantastic, but me Caesar salad was bland and didn't have a lot of anything except lettuce. It's one of the least-delicious salads I've ever had
