Mediterranean Grill - Crossing

Great shop. Food is always made fresh. They have 3-4 cooks working the line making everything from eggs to buffalo tender meals. I have yet to have a bad sandwich or a salad there. Greek salad with grilled chicken is my go-to meal but I have had their chicken parm and buffalo chicken sandwiches. Italian sandwich isn't too bad either. Pices are decent for Boston. The Greek salad with chicken is around $15. Highly recommend this place.

They need to rename their “kabob” dish, which is nothing like a kebab!

Can't believe the reviews of this place are so high. I work on this block, and have eaten dozens of meals here. I've always just accepted some of the negatives of this place because it's so conveniently located to my office, which is why I still go, despite better offerings in the neighborhood. Despite their lower ranking, they're still among the highest priced. Sandwiches and wraps here are generally underfilled and small compared to other places in the area. The space is standing room only (even before Covid, I think there was one high-top), as it's basically just a deli counter with lower grade pizza offerings. Today, my roast beef sandwich had cold cuts that not only weren't fresh, but were borderline spoiled. Sandwich literally smelled like bad cold cuts. I was starving, and had to throw it out. Breakfast is the only reliable order here. Even the stuff they sometimes do well, like Greek wraps, can disappoint, and let's face it, a person ordering a Greek wrap or roast beef sandwich isn't expecting something from the cover of Bon Appetit. Today was the last straw. Spoiled food is too much to ignore. Edit, 2 years later. I had a $15 sandwich today from here that was underfilled, and now my stomach hurts. I've been burping this gross thing up all afternoon. I hate leaving negative reviews. This place is trash.

Had lunch there. Their salads are great: very healthy and good size portions.

Such a cheaper/better alternative to other lunch options around. I suspect it’s underrated bc most office workers don’t leave reviews.
