Pho 5up Crofton

While driving from Virginia to Philadelphia, I stumbled upon a charming little Pho restaurant that caught my attention. It's conveniently located not far from Route 50, nestled in a small strip mall in an off-the-beaten-path area. The food turned out to be fantastic! The broth was rich in meat flavor without being overly salty or dominated by spices. Priced at a reasonable $12.95, the meal is a great value. The meat was tender, and the noodles were fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here. The modern décor adds to the nice atmosphere, and the utensils were well-designed and functional.

Broth was very watered down. Felt like I was tasting flavored water instead. I’ve been to countless Vietnamese restauarants in the past, and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Definitely not worth $14 for a small bowl. Service is good though and the people are nice

Really good pho. I appreciated the freshness of the basil, sprouts, pepper and lime. I ordered rare steak and it was perfectly prepared. The broth was a little milder and less complex than I prefer, but at the same time was floral and slightly sweet. The noodles were perfect and the portions very generous. And that saying a lot considering that I was eating steak. Lastly, the place is clean and tastefully decorated. It is fine for a casual dining or even a low-stakes date. I will be back!

Food was decent, but they up charge for everything and portions don't match pricing. Ordered shrimp pho with spicy veggie broth. Additional $2.25 for spicy broth and $4.69 for additional shrimp and only to receive 4 shrimp. Overall, it's not worth the increased charges to get what you want.

The spring rolls are large and delicious. Instead of ordering the typical Pho, we ordered the special number 15. It's a spicy broth with different kinds of meat and different kinds of noodles. It was also delicious! If you order that soup, ask for the shrimp paste and limes. They add a wonderful layer of complexity to the myriad of flavors already present in the soup. Amazing! Can't wait to come back again when visiting Crofton!
