Cattleman's Country Cafe - Crockett

We were greeted with big smiles and a giant, delicious meal. It was the home cooking I didn't realize I had missed for so long. The place is clean and well lit. Bonus for the kids to see where livestock is sold during the week!

When you walk in and you've never been there before you would expect at least a sign or something indicating please order here. Nope you sit down nobody says anything you need to order up here and all they had was chicken fried steak. The only thing that was warm was the chicken fried steak. The corn the gravy everything was mediocre I do not recommend eating here

One of the best burgers you can find. The service was excellent.

Great stop for lunch in Crockett Texas. Diner with no frills and good country food. These are hard working people who know how to cook. Serving 11 to 2 as you are traveling thru the area. Onion rings and everything else was good.
