The brisket was fantastic and had a nice smoky flavor. The ribs were excellent—tender meat just the way I enjoy it. The chicken was decent, but it could have used more seasoning or brining. The mac and cheese was tasty, and the corn pudding was delicious. Overall, it was a great meal, and I would definitely return. However, I won't be ordering the coleslaw again, as it lacked flavor and was quite bland. The greens were seasoned with leftover BBQ, which was nice and spicy, but they also needed some vinegar or additional seasoning.

I drive a truck with a CDL and travel all across the USA. At 60 years young, I've been enjoying BBQ for a long time. I would give this place, including the staff and especially the food, a full 10 stars! It was absolutely delicious—honestly, I've never had better. The sliced beef sandwich, potato salad, and sweet potatoes were amazing! The sauces were fantastic as well. The food is truly worth it. Thank you, and please give the cook a raise; they definitely deserve it!

We ordered the jumbo gumbo with red beans and rice on the side, as well as a pulled pork sandwich with jambalaya to sample. We were quite pleased with the flavors of everything! However, I found there to be too much rice in the gumbo, but that’s just my preference; I prefer the gumbo to take center stage rather than the rice. I’m giving this review 4 stars because of the rice situation, and the sauces on the table were mostly empty. Despite that, we will definitely return since we truly enjoyed the delicious flavors. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Portion sizes were just right—not too much, not too little. I would definitely recommend this place!

A word of caution: the food here has a noticeable Cajun flair. This is great for those who enjoy it, but if you’re looking for something sweet and sticky, this isn’t the place for you. I’ve never had barbecue in New Orleans, but if this is what they’re serving, I definitely need to broaden my horizons. Despite being a chain, the food didn’t feel like typical chain fare. If you're after a unique smoked meat experience, definitely check this place out—you'll likely find yourself coming back for more.
