Abuelo's - Crestview Hills

Abuelo is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. Personally, I really enjoy their chickens, Queso and especially their salsa. Each table is given with a mild, lime and hot salsa with always fresh and hot tortilla chips for diving. They also have a bar that offers many different Mexican beers and margaritas. Every time I go, they seem to have new and unique beverage specialties that are very good. The prices are on the higher side, but very much value it for the quality and quantity of food and drinks you receive.

For chain-shaped Mexican foods it was definitely good, but Kasey, our server, was top notch that put our culinary experience at the top. You have an extensive menu that has every price point and both large and small appetite. They have a large bar area and a fairly large indoor area. They also have a covered terrace for outdoor dining. We sat outside and it was really nice. Abuelos is at the Crestview Hills Town Center, an outdoor shopping center. Abuelos has desserts, but there are also a Cold Stone Creamery a few doors down. It was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised.

If you get one of the samplers, you better get your appetite!! I could have made two meals of it.

This Mexican restaurant has a diverse menu and authentic Mexican tasting recipes. The atmosphere is beautiful and a good place for big groups or a few special night out. Food quality and portion size is excellent. Our service was very good.

Food was decent. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Definitely worth visiting.
