The food was fantastic, and the service was satisfactory. It can be a bit slow depending on the time of day you visit, but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

What a wonderful place to take a break during your travels! Everything is homemade and truly delicious. They offer a variety of gluten-free options, and we highly recommend trying the gluten-free crêpes, particularly the one with pear jam and pistachio ice cream. The service is attentive and friendly, and the coffee is excellent. Additionally, you can relax in the charming little backyard, complete with a pear tree!

Well I have to say my visit here for the first time was a surprise. I have been living here for a year and have been meaning to try it.My mom and I were out running errands and stopped by for breakfast. When we walked in, it was a delightful burst of yellow with a vintage farmhouse vibe. I was all eyes scouring the chalk board for specials and looking at all the vintage pictures and collectibles.The restaurant was packed but there were two free tables, and most of the seated tables had their food already, so we sat down. Within 10 minutes of getting there, those guests eating had paid and left, leaving 3 tables including us.we were served our coffees quickly and put in our orders.Some highlights worth mentioning is the parking in the back. The front parking lot is tiny but there is lots around back.The other delight was the gluten free options. i was able to have toast for the first time since starting keto.I got a two-egg omelette and my mom got the 2-2-2 which was 2 egg 2 bacon 2 toast. We both enjoyed our meals.So why 4 stars instead of 5? We waited 45 minutes for our meal from the time we ordered. It was worth the wait and they may have been short staffed, but we were definitely wowed by a great meal, friendly staff and a cheery atmosphere.

We were a group of five hungry women in search of coffee and breakfast, and we ended up choosing an excellent spot! The food was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. The portion sizes were generous too. The chef even came out to check on us and see how everything was. When was the last time you experienced that kind of service? We’ll definitely be returning! I can’t wait to try their lunch offerings! Give this place a try—you won’t be disappointed!

The best breakfast and lunch restaurant in the Kootenays! Beautiful food with a French cuisine quality and love for the Customer. We cannot drive by without stopping.
