Safeway Liquor - Crescent City

I ordered extra toppings for my sandwiches from the menu, but they didn't follow through. I paid extra for the toppings, and neither of my orders included them.

I had a wonderful dinner here and I have no complaints about the food, but I found the prices to be quite high.

The sandwich came with a very small house salad, which was just okay. When my sandwich arrived, I was disappointed to find what appeared to be two pieces of spicy hot dogs instead of the expected falafel balls typical of a genuine falafel sandwich. The filling was poorly done and barely resembled a traditional falafel sandwich at all. I couldn’t bring myself to eat the falafel. It was honestly terrible and felt more like a $6 item, not a cent more. If this was their take on a falafel specialty, I shudder to think about the quality of the Italian dishes. I’m glad I didn’t try them. I wouldn't recommend this place at all; you'd be better off with fast food. On a positive note, the waitress was charming, attentive, and friendly, managing the entire restaurant well.

Excellent service. Large selection on menus. Food freshly cooked. Delicious. Many seats. Clean place. Free parking. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed gyros, kebabs, salads, and an abundance of desserts that we didn't even have room to try. Spaghetti and meatballs are also on the menu. The Greek sampler was excellent, and the Surf and Turf Kebabs were a favorite.
