Marlo's - Crescent City

I had the gyro plate. Lots of meat!! The potatoes were very bland though. I thought they'd be spicy. It was delivered hot so big kudos.

The Bacon Blue Burger Combo was bland. Cheese was more like feta than blue. Bacon was the kind of bits you'd find in a salad. The Chicken Bacon Carbonara was likewise bland: couldn't taste the bacon. The sauce was blaisé. Fried Zukes we're good, as we're the Onion Rings and French Fries.

The tzatziki sauce has a strong garlic flavor, which makes it exceptional! The gyro plate is perfect for sharing. The wedge salad is packed with delicious toppings!

The portions are overpriced and quite small. This was my second attempt at trying Marlos, and unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as the first. All I could taste was cheap butter, even with the gyro. How is that even possible?

The Greek Sampler and Ravioli Duo are excellent vegetarian choices!
