Hamaknockers Bbq - Crawfordville

We just dined at this restaurant, and I must say it was incredible! The BBQ ribs were delicious, and the mac and cheese, corn on the cob, and potato salad were all fantastic as well. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was lovely. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to return soon! We'll be camping nearby for a few days, so if you're in the area, be sure to stop by for a great meal—you won't regret it!

Fantastic local BBQ with a variety of sauces to choose from, along with excellent service.

Brisket tasted old and was a poor quality cut of meat. Extremely fatty. Moreso than brisket normally is. Sandwich was hot but couldn't get passed the 3 day old warned over beef taste. The jerk nor Carolina sauces helped. Needless to say, I ate the chips and the bun and left the brisket in the tray. Wasn't impressed with anything other than their sauces.

The food is outstanding but the portions are smaller than other places. Husband was served 2 ribs. Normally he brings 2 home after eating his fill. The pork plate special was outstanding in taste and the quantity was about right.
