Mama Fazio's Pizza - Crawfordsville

I have been to Mama Fazio's a few times before, but it has been a while since my last visit. I must say that I was somewhat disappointed this time. I ordered extra cheese on my pizza, but the amount of cheese was not what I expected. The cheese barely covered the pizza and didn't even reach the edges, especially considering the toppings were only vegetables and no meat. The crust also seemed less crispy than I remembered, almost as if it needed a few more minutes in the oven.

This small pizza restaurant is a hidden gem. It is our favorite place to eat in Crawfordsville, and we only visit once a year. The staff is incredibly friendly.

I called and ordered a medium pizza with two toppings. The person on the phone said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I waited 40 minutes to ensure it was ready, but when I arrived, the pizza hadn't even been started. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for a pizza that was already supposed to be done. And when I finally received the pizza, there was very little cheese on it. You would think that after waiting for an hour on a Wednesday, the pizza would be higher quality. Additionally, our breadsticks were cold and not even warm, as if they had been sitting in a freezer. It seems like someone gave us leftover, cold breadsticks. Please be more generous with the toppings on the pizza.
